Historic DuPont Lawsuit Settlement

New Jersey is making environmental history. In what’s being called one of the largest environmental settlements in U.S. history, DuPont and related companies have agreed to pay $2 billion to resolve claims over toxic “forever chemicals.” These chemicals are said to have contaminated water supplies and ecosystems across the Garden State. Former New Jersey State Legislator John Wisniewski, who served on the State Assembly’s Environment & Solid Waste Committee during his time in office is here to help us unpack what this settlement.
