In the fourth inning, Ranko Stevanovic got a big hit, made it to second base, and advanced to home to make the score 4-0 after Ian Walters made it home. In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Jackals would get on the board. Luis Acevedo scored after hitting a single.

The game would start to get more interesting in the eighth inning. The score was 5-1 heading into the bottom of the eighth with the Valley Cats having the lead.
