We’re joined this morning by Steve Healey, co-founder of The Brooke Healey Foundation, created in honor of his daughter Brooke, a vibrant, joyful 5-year-old who lost her battle with DIPG, an aggressive and incurable pediatric brain cancer. Since 2013, the foundation has raised over $2.5 million to support research, families, and awareness efforts. All of this work has now helped extend life expectancy for DIPG patients in the process. This Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, they’re reminding all of us why their mission is Caring ‘Til It’s Cured.
