James Matula, a 17-year-old baseball player from Middlesex High School, died from his injuries following a car crash. According to his coach, the crash happened as Matula was returning home from out of state.

A New York contractor from Piscataway allegedly took $60,000 from a homeowner without performing the work he was hired for. The 37-year-old was charged with grand larceny.

Congratulations to Barbara George Johnson, who serves as VP of External Affairs and Urban Policy and Research at Kean University. She was just selected to Mikie Sherrill’s ‘Jobs, Opportunity, and Prosperity for All’ action team.

As part of Neptune High School’s Jump Start Academy, officers recently spoke with students about traffic safety, as they prepare for their driver’s licenses and permits.
