BRICK – In a meet that included three of the top-10 teams in the state, No. 1 St. John Vianney repeated as the Shore Conference gymnastics champions, edging out No. 10 Howell and No. 8 Brick.

While the Lancers did not have any individual standout performances except for a first-place finish on bars from Sierra Vaz, it was SJV’s depth that ultimately proved to be the difference, as St. John Vianney gymnasts recorded nine top-10 scores between the all-around and the four individual events.

Red Bank Catholic’s Luciana Panaccione took the all-around title, scoring a 37.875.  Manchester Township’s Jada Powell finished in second with a 37.575, and Brick’s Shea Wagner finished third with a 36.600.
