A “peeping goat” in Chatham that residents say was spotted peering into homes has been taken to a farm after being safely trapped.
The goat is now “resting comfortably at his new home at a local farm,” the Chatham Township Police Department said on Facebook.
Photos of the goat went viral last week, after police put out another post that they were “actively searching for the peeping goat that has been seen throughout the Township.”
“We know who the rightful owner of the goat is, and it is not Creekside Farms,” they wrote.
It’s not clear where the goat came from or how it got out .
