Nurses Strike Tentatively Ends
Nurses at RWJ have reached a tentative agreement with the hospital, after being on strike for more than 120 days. The agreement comes after months of bitter negotiations, with the nurses demanding better pay, benefits and staff ratios. It’s unclear when the nurses will return to work.
Deer Loose in Elementary School
One of Santa’s reindeer didn’t crash through the snow, it crashed through a school instead. Video posted by Toms River Police shows a deer wreaking havoc after breaking into a Cedar Grove elementary school. Body cam footage shows the officers trying to corral the deer, which ran through several classrooms. It eventually made its way outdoors, unharmed.
