A driver got quite a surprise after a deer fell off an overpass, smashed right through the windshield of his Jeep, and landed right in his lap.
A police spokesman said the Jeep was headed south in Clifton on Route 21 when the deer “jumped or fell off the Route 3 overpass.” After the impact, the driver struck a concrete barrier and crashed into another vehicle traveling southbound.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The deer did not survive.
