Dan Pardini got the start on the mound for Christian Brothers.  The lefty, and Penn State commit, pitched all six innings, scattering two hits and a walk, while striking out eight to earn the win for CBA.

Casper Billington and Miles Martin each had one of the Bulldogs’ two hits, both doubles, to lead the RFH offense.

Cooper Jones started on the hill for Rumson-Fair Haven.  Jones went three innings, surrendering eight runs, five of them earned, on five hits.  Jones also gave up five free passes and struck out five for the Bulldogs.

The win marks the ninth Shore Conference baseball title for Christian Brothers, and the 12-0 score marks the first time, in the tournament’s 46-year history, that the championship game has ended via the mercy rule.
