The Colts Neck girls’ basketball team claimed their first sectional championship in 12 years, defeating Red Bank Regional 43-28 in the 2026 Central Jersey, Group 3 Championship game.

Allison McAndrew scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the way for the Cougars. Julianna Jasina also netted double-figures scoring for Colts Neck, dropping 12 points to go along with six boards.

Synai Blychanton scored 14 points to lead the Bucs.

Win the win, Colts Neck will face Moorestown in the Group 3 State semifinals at Central Regional High School on March 11.
