Butler starting pitcher Mikayla Eutermarks pitched seven scoreless innings, surrendering only two hits and three walks while striking out 14 to lead the Bulldog softball team to a 9-0 victory over Leonia on May 13, 2026.

Anabella Cole, Brooke Demmers, Giada Huber, and Kara Morgan all had multiple hits for Butler.  Huber had the most hits, going 3-4 with two doubles, an RBI, and three runs at the plate.  Cole, Demmers, and Morgan each had two hits, with Demmers notching a double, a homerun, and four RBIs, while Cole recorded a triple and an RBI, and Morgan notched a double for the Bulldogs.

Nadine Abdel-Razek and Juliet Gramuglia recorded Leonia’s only two hits, with Gramuglia’s hit going for an extra base.

Leonia starting pitcher, Emily Ignacio, took the loss for the Lions, going four innings and surrendering six runs, but only two of them earned, while walking two and striking out three.

With the win, Butler improves to 13-6 on the season and will travel to Park Ridge to face the Owls on Friday, while Leonia falls to 9-8 with the loss and will host Waldwick on Friday.
