Rowan secured its first NJAC women’s soccer regular-season title since 2023, routing Rutgers-Newark 7-0 on Oct. 23, 2026, at the Rowan Soccer and Lacrosse Complex in Glassboro.

The Profs were led by Sara Wiedeman’s seven-point night.  Wiedeman recorded a hat trick, scoring three goals and adding one assist for Rowan.  Gabby Rabinowitz and Riley Fortna also had multiple-point evenings for the Profs, recording a goal and an assist each.  Cameron DiMeo and Hannah Ferris scored Rowan’s other goals, while MaKala Baker and Nina Nocille recorded the Profs’ other helpers.

Rowan held Rutgers-Newark to only two shots, and neither was on frame.  Conversely, the Profs peppered Scarlet Raider keepers Maura Chawner and Hailey Sharpe with 20 shots (14 on target), making it a difficult night for the Rutgers-Newark netminders.  The duo was able to make seven saves for the evening.

With the win, the No. 4 Profs remain undefeated (13-0-0 overall, 8-0-0 NJAC) and will receive home-field advantage throughout the NJAC playoffs.  Meanwhile, the Scarlet Raiders fall to 6-6-4 overall and 2-5-1 in the NJAC with the loss.
