IMAGES: Rutgers Women’s Soccer Falls to No. 12 UCLA

UCLA’s Cate Sarinopoulos scored an 85th-minute goal as the Rutgers women’s soccer team fell 1-0 to the No. 12 Bruins at Yurcak Field in Piscataway on Sept. 24, 2026.

The Scarlet Knights outshot UCLA 15-9; however, only one shot was put on net, and that one was saved by Bruin keeper Daphne Nakfoor.

Lilia Calvert took seven shots for Rutgers, and goalkeeper Olivia Bodmer made two saves for the Scarlet Knights.

With the loss, Rutgers falls to 2-4-3 on the year and 1-3-0 in the Big Ten, and will next be in action when they host Wisconsin on Sunday.
