Taylor Sofilkanich and Amelia Moro led the St. John Vianney offense with 23 and 19 kills, respectively, as the Lancers overcame Pinelands to win the 2025 Shore Conference Girls Volleyball Championship, 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-11).

Ayana Warren also had a double-double with 10 digs and 53 assists for SJV.  Giavanna Sergi, Diana Mackiewicz, and Genevieve Millett contributed 25, 16, and 12 digs to the St. John Vianney defensive effort.  Millet and Warren also had eight of the Lancers’ 15 service aces for the match.  Sofilkanich also recorded five blocks on defense for SJV.

Riley McQuaid had a double-double with 10 digs and 13 assists, and Madison Wilbert had 10 kills to lead the Pinelands.  Cali Peterka added nine digs, and Chloe Tucker dished 16 helpers to add to the Wildcats’ offensive effort.  Jayla Kline and Jayda Quigley had 23 digs apiece while Cassie Gould added 14 digs for Pineland.  Peterka also had six blocks for the Wildcats.

SJV will next host either Trinity Hall or Camden Catholic in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey, Non-Public A sectional playoffs on Nov. 7, while Pinelands will host Lindenwold in the first round of the South Jersey, Group 2 sectional playoffs on Nov. 3.
