FLEMINGTON – Depth was the name of the game for No. 3 Hillsborough as the Raiders captured their third consecutive Skylands Conference gymnastics crown at Hunterdon Central High School on Oct. 30, 2026.

Hillsborough only had one event winner; however, each of their three counted scores on every event placed in the top ten.

Bridgewater-Raritan’s Alison Lardieri continued her strong season, claiming the Skylands Conference individual all-around title with a score of 37.575.  Hillsborough’s Erin Gengler and Emily Minetti rounded out the top-3 in the all-around.  Gengler finished in second with a 36.850, while Minetti took third with a 36.650.

Lardieri also took the vault title for the Panthers with a 9.6.  Hillsborough’s Ashley Womack placed second on the vault with a 9.55, and Montgomery’s Kelly Lee took third with a 9.45.

Lardieri scored a 9.4 on the uneven bars to win her third individual title of the meet.  Bernards’ Sofia Carreira finished behind Lardieri in second with a 9.2, while Gengler rounded out the top three on bars with a 9.1.

The balance beam was the only apparatus where Lardieri did not place in the top three.  Hunterdon Central’s Paige Brecht placed first on the beam with a 9.625.  She was followed by Minetti, who finished second with a 9.5, and Womack, who scored a 9.45, to finish third.

Gengler and Minetti took first and third on the floor exercise for the Raiders.  Gengler finished first with a 9.6, and Minetti came in third with a 9.425.  Lardieri took second on the floor with a 9.475.

As a team, Hillsborough won the Skylands Conference championship with a 111.050, far outpacing second-place No. 10 Bridgewater-Raritan, who finished with a 107.450, and third-place Ridge, who finished with a 107.325.  Rounding out the team scores, Hunterdon Central finished in fourth with a 105.800, Watchung Hills finished in fifth with a 104.475, North Hunterdon finished in sixth with a 101.975, and Montgomery finished in seventh with a 99.625.
