Sandy Hook Offering Ghost Walks in October

By Maddy Grieco

Sandy Hook is offering haunted Ghost Walks for the month of October as the beach town prepares for Halloween.

Thanks to the American Littoral Society, the town will organize a “Spooky Tales/Ghosts of Historic Fort Hannock” walk throughout the month. This yearly celebration brings interested individuals on an enchanting and eerie tour though abandoned U.S. army sites and dunes in Sandy Hook.

To pursue Fort Hannock and see sites of former U.S. Army buildings, avid Halloween fans sign up to take a nighttime walk on the haunted grounds of Sandy Hook. Tickets are sold at $20 a person, and registration is mandatory.

Sign ups are listed for Friday, October 18th and Thursday, October 24th from 7PM to 9M.
