With housing costs rising and affordable options in short supply, more communities across New Jersey are exploring creative solutions, including Accessory Dwelling Units, or ADUs. These are small, independent residences built on the same property as a main home, think backyard cottages or converted garages.
Joining us this morning is Ann Lippel, who has been deeply involved in ADU advocacy and implementation. She’s worked on projects aimed at expanding access to this kind of housing, and she brings a wealth of knowledge on how ADUs can help meet the growing demand for flexible, affordable living spaces.
