Scammers are becoming more sophisticated every year, targeting people through phone calls, text messages, emails, social media, and even artificial intelligence. As fraud cases continue to rise across the country, communities here in New Jersey are working to educate residents on how to recognize scams and protect themselves before becoming victims. Chris Widelo, Associate State Director of Advocacy for AARP New Jersey, joins the show to discuss fraud prevention efforts and the importance of staying informed.
