Professional beach volleyball is back in a big way, and one of its most iconic East Coast stops has returned to the Jersey Shore. The Association of Volleyball Professionals recently kicked off its 2026 AVP League season in Belmar, bringing some of the world’s top beach volleyball athletes, including Olympians and international stars, back to New Jersey for the first time in more than a decade. The AVP will also be transforming New York City’s Central Park into a world-class beach volleyball venue as part of its nationwide tour.
