BROOKLYN ‘TRANSFORMS’ FOR THE ‘RISE OF THE BEASTS’ PREMIERE, WITH HELP FROM NJ NATIVES

“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” stars Anthony Ramos and Pete Davidson as Autobot Mirage, as they seal their spots in the iconic franchise. Dominique Fishback co-stars alongside Ramos as they join together with the robots for their biggest challenge yet, when a new threat capable of destroying the entire planet emerges. Together with the Maximals, they must save the world.

While the movie takes place in Brooklyn, New York, three important characters are played by New Jersey actors,  including Morris County native Peter Dinklage. North Plainfield’s John DiMaggio is the voice behind Autobot Stratosphere and Newark native Michaela Jae’ Rodriguez lends her to voice Nightbird.

The drama is played out against the background of 90’s hip-hop classics and rapper Tobe Nwigwe not only scored a part in the film but added to the soundtrack with an original song.

“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” is in theaters June 9th.
