An historic milestone in New Jersey education took place last month as students inside East Jersey State Prison earned graduate-level certificates through Drew Theological School’s Partnership for Religion and Education in Prisons, known as the PREP program. This is the first time in New Jersey history that a graduate-level certification has been awarded entirely within a prison classroom.
