As the nation prepares to mark a historic milestone, the 250th anniversary of the United States, one local university is turning that celebration into a call to serve.

Fairleigh Dickinson University has launched a new initiative called “250 Acts of Kindness: A Legacy of Compassion,” encouraging students, faculty, and staff to give back through service projects and community partnerships. The campaign officially kicked off with events on both campuses, including a gathering at FDU Florham Campus, where the university community came together with a shared goal: transforming everyday acts of kindness into a lasting culture of care.
