The NFL is known for strength, toughness, and resilience, but today, two former players are using their platform to talk about something even more important: health and prevention.

The NFL Alumni Association, in partnership with the CDC, has launched the Gear Up Against Cancer campaign in four major markets, including right here in the New York and New Jersey area. The goal is to raise awareness about lung cancer risks, prevention, and the life-saving benefits of early screening.

Joining us this morning are Roman Oben, former NFL offensive lineman and President of the NFL Alumni New York/New Jersey Chapter, and Shaun O’Hara, former All-Pro and Pro Bowl center.
