September 11th is a day that forever changed our country and the lives of thousands of first responders. For many who rushed toward the danger that morning, the physical and emotional effects of that day continued long after the towers fell. Joining us is Tito Rodriguez, a paramedic with Hackensack University Medical Center, who was one of the first responders at Ground Zero on 9/11. Tito survived the collapse of the Twin Towers, spent 30 hours caring for the wounded, and decades later faced another battle when he was diagnosed with a rare cancer linked to his exposure to the toxic dust at Ground Zero.
