Holiday Debt Hangover

December 10, 2025

A new study suggests many Americans may be heading toward a January holiday debt hangover. MoneyLion reports that 84% of us plan to use credit cards to cover holiday expenses this year, which means bigger bills ahead as inflation continues to push prices up. The survey also shows that 30% of Americans will lean on buy-now, pay-later options, and 14% expect to take out a personal loan just to afford gifts. Founder and CEO of Better Qualified in New Jersey, Paul Oster joins the show to help us make sense of it all!
