While March may be Women’s History Month, the impact of trailblazing women continues to be felt year-round, especially here in New Jersey. One of those leaders is Wilda Diaz, who made history as the first, and to date only, Latina mayor of Perth Amboy. During her time in office, she focused on community development, economic revitalization, and expanding opportunities for working families, while also paving the way for greater Latino representation in public leadership. Her story continues to inspire a new generation of women to step into roles of influence and service. We’re joined now by Wilda Diaz to reflect on her journey and lasting impact.
