This morning we’re shining a light on a local organization that is lifting families up, literally. Love Lifts Us Up, or LLUU, is an all-volunteer non-porfit providing real-time support to underserved families with newborns and seriously ill children at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. From car seats and diapers to medical equipment, transportation, and even funeral assistance, LLUU steps in when families need it most.

Joining us today are Erica Loguirato, Secretary for Love Lifts Us Up, and Vanessa Swartz, an intern with the organization who works directly with families in crisis.
