Today is National Pizza Day. Many consider the pizza capital of America to be New Jersey. In fact some of the best pizza connoisseurs from the Tri State, who used to swear by Brooklyn Pizza, now swear that New Jersey pizza has Brooklyn, beat. That said, there are thousands of pizzerias in the Garden State.. so who has the best pizza? The argument gets settled during the annual New Jersey Pizza Bowl, where actual people taste and vote for the best pizza in the state. This year, Bucky’s Pizzeria in Clifton won best pizza, hands down. But some folks in Monmouth County have gone rogue, proclaiming the coastal county to be New Jersey’s REAL pizza capital.
