New Jersey’s film industry is having a major moment right now, with more productions choosing the Garden State as a backdrop for movies, television, and digital content. But what does that growth really mean for the people who live and work here?

That’s the question explored in the new documentary OPERATION: Is Jersey The New Hollywood? from Newark-based WTH?, a creative collective that started as a short film and has since grown into the WTH? Music & Film Festival, now celebrating its third year.
