Nearly 6 in 10 New Jersey adults support regulating how AI chatbots interact with people seeking mental health advice, according to a new Rutgers study. Researchers also found that support for regulation is even higher among people who have already used AI for mental health guidance. Dr. Elizabeth Stone Assistant Professor at the Rutgers Institute for Health, joins the show to explain what the findings tell us about how New Jerseyans are using AI.
