New Shoprite in West Caldwell
The brand-new ShopRite of West Caldwell officially opened its doors this week at 900 Bloomfield Avenue, replacing its longtime location on Passaic Avenue. The celebration kicked off this past Sunday with a family-friendly “Parking Lot Party” featuring live music, games, and food trucks, followed by a community parade and ribbon-cutting on Tuesday. At nearly 90,000 square feet, the new store offers expanded services including Sunrise Kitchens, a full wine and spirits section, and a dedicated community room. The grand opening also honored the Gladstein family’s 85-year legacy in West Caldwell, with archival photos and familiar features like the original red phone booths. Shoppers can now visit the new store daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. for a modern shopping experience rooted in local tradition.
