Governor Phil Murphy signed a law mandating public high school and charter school students submit a financial aid application for graduation. Starting with the 11th-grade class this year, students must complete FAFSA or the NJ alternative financial aid application. The data will determine eligibility for financial aid for post-high school education.

A mall in South Jersey says no minors are allowed without a parental chaperone during designated hours. The Deptford Mall will now require teens to be chaperoned during evening weekend hours.
