Authorities say a man was found dead of gunshot wounds inside a parked vehicle in West Orange. The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office says no arrests have been made and the shooting remains under investigation.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is closing about 400 acres of the Higbee Beach Wildlife Management Area for a $37.5 million restoration project, which is expected to take about two years.
