News Update: Man Charged or Animal Cruelty

By Kaitlyn Giordano

The New Jersey Attorney General is asking the public for help in locating a former corrections officer. He is wanted after failing to appear in court to face charges of paying for sex with a trafficked minor. Anyone with information should contact police.

Authorities say a 43-year-old Salem County man has been charged with animal cruelty after State Police troopers found four starving and abused pit bulls at a home in Fairfield Township. The dogs were taken to an animal shelter. The incident remains under investigation.
