News Update: Man Sentenced For Fatal Accident

THE UNION COUNTY PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE SAYS A 32-YEAR-OLD ELIZABETH MAN HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO 11 YEARS IN PRISON FOR FATALLY STRIKING A PEDESTRIAN AND LEAVING THE SCENE IN 2020.

THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH HAS ORDERED CAREPOINT HEALTH SYSTEM TO SUBMIT CONTINGENCY PLANS FOR THEIR THREE HOSPITALS. THE MOVE COMES AMID CONCERNS THE FACILITIES COULD HAVE A DISRUPTION IN SERVICES, OR BE FORCED TO CLOSE, BECAUSE OF THE NETWORK’S FINANCIAL CRISIS.
