NEWS UPDATE: NJ Hall of Fame

Officials say a New Jersey family plans to sue the Newark board of education for $150 million after an 18-year-old student was critically hurt by a hit-and-run driver when she stepped off a school bus. The incident happened last month and involved a cheerleader at the Newark Arts High School.

Officials say students of the 3rd Annual Citizen’s Police Academy celebrated their successful completion of the course with members of the Cherry Hill Police Department. Students learned about law enforcement policies and procedures, as well as traffic safety.

Virtua Health is preparing to celebrate National Doctors’ Day. Officials say on March 30th they will be honoring the dedicated physicians who work every day to build a healthier South Jersey.

Organizers say New Jersey ‘s Hall of Fame Entertainment and Learning Center is set to open in June at the American Dream mega mall. The center is the hall’s first official location.
