A Wharton man was arrested after allegedly stealing hundreds of dollars from a deli in Dover. 27-year-old Dwayne Brown faces robbery and assault charges, as well as weapons offenses. Darian Filcklin, a man who fatally shot his girlfriend in East Orange, has been caught after fleeing to Delaware. The victim, 44-year-old Shalamar Brown, died at the hospital. Officials in Newark hosted the graduation of 13 Fire Division recruits. The class began their training back in March, at the Passaic County Public Safety Academy. Four police officers were also sworn in during the ceremony. New Jersey Transit Police Sergeant Dominick Segro coached the Springfield Storm to victory, in the Long Hill Baseball and Softball Association Tournament. The team is 45 and 15 over their last 60 games.
