A Cranford man was killed in a crash in Ringwood. 23-year-old Michael Mendonca-Lopez was on a motorcycle, when he collided with an SUV near Skyline and Greenwood Lake drives. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of an SUV was killed on Pasadena Road in Manchester. 22-year-old Jack Lisowsky veered into oncoming traffic and crashed into a dump truck. Both vehicles went up in flames; the driver of the truck was not seriously hurt.

Police are investigating a ceiling collapse at the Cranford Movie Theater on North Avenue West. The theater was open at the time of the incident. First responders determined that everyone had evacuated following a search and rescue. No injuries were reported.

Chief Anthony Manna of the Fairfield Police Department honored five of his officers, who were sent to assist with a home burglary in North Caldwell back in February. The officers tracked the suspects down, following footprints in the snow.
