Two Middlesex County men were arrested and charged, after trying to extort a New York woman out of $300,000 in gold. The suspects, aged 58 and 21, posed as a bank employee, a federal official and Microsoft technician.
A Plainfield teacher is facing charges, for allegedly paying a 16-year-old boy for nude pictures and sex last year. Authorities say 26-year-old Jack Wilder, of Somerville, communicated with the boy through a mobile payment app.
Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way joined Colonel Patrick Callahan of the New Jersey State Police, for the Annual Survivors of the Triangle Memorial Ceremony. The event honors Troopers who have died in the line of duty.
