Sheriff James Gannon presented the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Award to one of his longtime mentors, Chief Bill McKee of the Boonton Township Volunteer Fire Department. McKee served the township for 60 years.

Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Mercer County held a flag-raising ceremony, in honor of Donate Life Month. The goal of the event is to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation.

The Camden Health & Athletic Association introduced the new Camden Youth Baseball Summer League, a free league that serves children 9 to 12 years old. Registration is now open, with in-person sign-ups and tryouts scheduled for this Saturday at Whitman Park Athletic Complex.

Bayonne’s Division of Recreation has announced this year’s Summer Sounds by the Bay Music Concert Series. The weekly event goes from June 24th until August 19th. Concerts start at 7pm, at the amphitheater stage at 16th Street Park.
