A suspect was shot while the DEA was executing a search warrant at a home on Kingston Road in Parsippany. The suspect, who authorities believe to be a member of a gang, was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

A Clayton man is dead following a crash in Monroe Township. The 35-year-old was driving south on Fries Mill Road when his car crossed into oncoming traffic, striking an SUV and a pickup truck. He died at the hospital about nine hours later.

Officers in Belleville trained teachers and custodians as part of the department’s Stop the Bleed campaign. The program educates school officials on how to control severe bleeding until professional help arrives.

The Mercer Athletics Hall of Fame Committee recently hosted a cocktail hour celebrating Mercer County Community College’s incoming class. The induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 4th.
