The mother of a student from Belmont Runyon Elementary School is suing the Newark Board of Education. She claims her daughter was not being supervised when she fell off the monkey bars and broke her wrist, back in 2024. A Winslow Township police officer was hit by a car on Marcia Court, while he was trying to break up a large protest on private property. The driver was arrested and charged. The Pearl Harbor Day Commemoration will take place at Battleship New Jersey this Friday at 10 am. The event is hosted by the Camden and Gloucester County Board of Commissioners and will feature a Peter Molnar Award, which is given to those dedicated to helping veterans in the area. Congratulations to Sergeant Dennis DeAngelis, who just retired from the Woodcliff Lake Police Department. DeAngelis, who served the borough for 30 years, walked out of headquarters following his final shift, surrounded by family, friends and colleagues.
