The parents of a child with autism, who attended school in Pompton Lakes– have *filed a lawsuit against the district. *They claim — their 14-year-old daughter was **sexually assaulted on a school bus last year, and that **none of the adults on board did *anything to stop it.

Police are investigating — after a 23-year-old woman was *struck and killed by a Krispy Kreme truck in Berlin Township. It happened on the northbound side of Route 73, near the corner of Franklin Avenue.

Belford Brewing Company recently hosted a grand re-opening for its new location on Main Street in Campbell’s Junction. The event was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by Middletown Mayor Tony Perry and other local officials.

Congratulations to West Orange Police Chief James Abbott on his retirement. Abbott has served the township for more than 45 years, and was named chief in 1997.
