Spencer Savings Bank has named Christina Schratz the Financial Center Manager of its Clifton financial center. Schratz will lead daily operations, while managing customer relationship development and community engagement. She has over 25 years of experience.

The Atlantic City Police Department recognized Spanky and Son Subs & Deli with a commendation. The Chelsea Heights staple has served the neighborhood from the same location for 48 years.

Mayor Susan McCartney and Township Council were on hand for a ceremony on Franklin Avenue, to rename the West Orange Department of Recreation garage in honor of former employee Joe Pelose. Pelose joined the department in 1984 and passed away two years ago.

The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office held a K-9 demonstration for Ocean Township High School. Students also got to tour operations and learn about the agency.
