Governor Mikie Sherrill signed an Executive Order to ban ICE agents from state property. This comes as she unveiled a portal to report ICE activity and a “know your rights” website.

A new bill aims to make food healther for kids at chain restaurants in New Jersey. This would require 25 percent of the children’s menu to meet limits on calories, sodium, added sugars and saturated fat.

After two seasons at Monmouth University, Don Bosco alum Lamont Lester has announced he’s transferring to the University of Colorado, to play under Head Coach Deion Sanders. The defensive lineman played in 12 games with 37 tackles in 2025.

Actor James Van Der Beek, known for his title role on the TV series “Dawson’s Creek”, has passed away at 48, following a battle with cancer. Van Der Beek attended Drew University in Madison, before dropping out to pursue acting, but received an honorary degree from the school in 2024.
