Local officials were on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Terrell Homes Senior Housing complex in Newark. The complex, located on Chapel Street, provides affordable housing for residents 55 and up.

Former Rutgers football player-turned-entrepreneur Eric LeGrand is opening another LeGrand Coffee House location. This one will be on Route 35 in Middletown and is being targeted for this spring. LeGrand also has a coffee shop in Woodbridge.

Commissioner Joe DiVincenzo was on hand as Congresswoman LaMonica McIver presented $1 million to the United Community Corporation. The funding will support the organization’s Youth STEM Program.

Robert Matos-Moran has joined River Crossing Strategy Group, a public affairs firm based in Trenton. He’ll work with clients on policy strategy, stakeholder engagement and legislative advocacy. He most recently served as Governor Murphy’s director of legislative affairs.
