The Norwood Police Department congratulates Detective Joseph Pala-zzola, who just became an accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist after passing the exam. He’s now one of just 61 accredited reconstructionists in New Jersey.

State troopers from the Marine Services Bureau joined the Morris County Sheriff’s Department, Sparta Police and Hopatcong Police for ice rescue training at Lake Hopatcong. Officials remind residents that no ice is ever completely safe.

Margaret McMenamin, president of UCNJ Union College of Union County, was presented with a resolution at the school’s Black History Month Kickoff. The event included singing, poetry reading and a panel discussion from faculty.

The Burlington Police Department congratulates Sergeant Matthew Mercuri on his retirement. Mercuri began his law enforcement career in 2000 as a Special Law Enforcement Officer and was promoted to sergeant in 2024.
