Jessica Cardone has officially been sworn in as Warren County prosecutor. Cardone had been serving as acting prosecutor since September of 2024, when she took over for Anthony Picione.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office earned re-accreditation by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police. The process ensures that the agency is operating at maximum efficiency while focusing on community needs. New Jersey Transit is asking high school students to come up with an original artwork to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary. The two winning designs – one from North Jersey and South Jersey – will be featured on buses throughout the year. Chris Olsen, the older brother of NFL announcer and three-time NFL Pro Bowler Greg Olsen, has died following a battle with brain cancer. Olsen was born in Paterson and played quarterback at Wayne Hills, under his father Chris Olsen, Sr. He was 42 years old.
