In an effort to improve safety, New Jersey has new regulations for e-bikes and e-scooters. Riders must be at least 15 years old and have a motorized bike license, or a valid driver’s license if you’re 17 or older. All e-bikes and e-scooters must be registered and insured.

Three people were rescued after their boat took on water, about four miles off the coast of Monmouth County. The trio was brought back to the Manasquan Inlet by the U.S. Coast Guard. No injuries were reported.

Mayor John Pallone helped cut the ribbon for Branchport Galleries, an expansion of the Long Branch Arts And Cultural Center. The celebration included an exhibition of artwork from more than 30 students.

A lost puppy was just reunited with its family. The dog was left inside a car that was stolen from a shopping plaza in Florham Park. It was eventually found by a good Samaritan on the side of I-78, near Newark Airport.
