The Toms River Planning Board – approved a proposal to build a townhouse complex and retail building at the intersection of Route 37 and Bimini Drive. The land is currently two open fields that have sat vacant for decades.
Barnes & Noble at the Livingston Mall will be relocating to the Livingston Shopping Center on Route 10. The move is expected to happen in mid to late 2027.
Officers with the Secaucus Police Department recently provided “Stop the Bleed” training to teachers and administrators from Secaucus High School and Middle School. The program gives them the skills they need to help bleed victims before first responders arrive.
A car hit a utility pole on Route 23 in Hardyston, causing a transformer to explode and trap the driver. Bloomingdale Police Detective Dustin Gomes, who was off-duty, saw the accident and guided her out of harm’s way, just before the explosion.
